A microbiologist in Calgary, Alberta, currently working in the field of Veterinary Microbiology and specializing in bovine mastitis. She received post-graduate degrees in Microbial and Biochemical Science and in Environmental Science from Georgia State University and University of Calgary, respectively. She has been involved in research projects at the Centro Amazonico para Investigacion y Control de Enfermedades Tropicales, Puerto Ayacucho, Territorio Federal Amazonas (Edo. Amazonas), Venezuela; Instituto de Medicina Tropical, Universidad Central de Caracas, Caracas, Venezuela; Georgia State University, Atlanta, Georgia; Centers for Disease Control, Atlanta, Gerogia; University of Calgary, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, Calgary, Alberta. She became interested in Lyme disease after discovering she had the disease in 2011. As a volunteer, she has been involved in research related to Lyme disease on behalf of the Canadian Lyme Disease. Middelveen’s interest in Morgellons began when she ran across the website of Ginger Savely, DNP. A ground-breaking article on Morgellons co- authored by Middelveen and Raphael Stricker was published Nov., 2011.

His very distinguished, multi-faceted career spans over 20 yrs; medical experience and interests include Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, Geriatric & Preventive Health Medicine, Vascular Medicine, and P.A.I.N. Therapy complemented by Acupuncture and Neural Therapy. Within recent years, Dr. Nicolaus has begun treating as well as researching Morgellons Disease in Germany.

Elizabeth Rasmussen, Ph.D.

Dr. Rasmussen recieved her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Wyoming (UW).   She has

 post graduate education in microbiology and immunology, also from UW.  She is a member of the Wyoming Psychological Association, the American Psychological Association, and past co-chair of the Laramie Advisory Commission on Disabilities and was appointed to the Wyoming Vocational Rehabilitation Advisory Council by two governors.  She has presented to the College of Health Sciences at UW, at the Wyoming State Health Conferences, at various health fairs, at the Wyoming Psychological Association Conferences, the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND), at the Black Hills VAMC Grand Rounds, and the Sheridan VAMC.

Ginger Savely, DNP

Ginger (aka Virginia) Savely is a family nurse practitioner with a doctorate degree in nursing practice(DNP). With a background in primary care, Dr. Savely has been specializing in the treatment of Lyme disease and other tick borne diseases since the year 2000 and in the newly emerging Morgellons disease since 2003. She is a member of International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ILADS). Dr. Savely has more clinical experience with Morgellons disease than any other health care provider in the world. Her many published articles and speaker presentations have earned her

 national media attention and the respect of her peers.
