Elizabeth “Betsy” Anderson received her BS in Nursing from the University of Arizona in 1988. She moved to San Francisco and began working as a cardiovascular critical care nurse where she worked along side Cindy Casey-Holman for many years. Betsy completed a Masters in Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco in 1998 becoming a Gerontological Nurse Practitioner.
Betsy has served on the Medical Advisory Panel for the Charles E. Holman Morgellons Disease Foundation (CEHMDF) for over a decade and in 2025 she joined the Board of Directors. She has served as moderator for several CEHMDF’s annual conferences and she was a participant in the documentary film “Skin Deep: The Battle Over Morgellons” released in 2020.
“I have seen the effects of Morgellons disease on patients and I’m honored to be a part of the Charles E. Holman Morgellons Disease Foundation” states Ms Anderson. She is an avid supporter of Morgellons research and brings awareness to the medical community and public.
Currently, Betsy is retired from a life long career in nursing and resides in Tucson, Arizona where she’s active in her church and community. Her hobbies include sports, travel, dogs and National Parks.
